How long does it take to ship my order?

Orders are custom built upon your payment clearing. It takes about one week to construct your build, then another to do setup, install, and stress testing. Most orders are out the door 10 business days after ordering.

What if I want a part that's not listed?

If you desire a component you don't see on the site, email us and we can see if it fits with the build you want to construct. The parts we selected are curated from the best companies on the market for their quality and reliability; we won't use anything less in your build.

Question 3

Are your computers upgradable?

Accepted Answer

Since all our builds are built by hand, piece by piece, any part can be changed out in the future as long as it is compatible with the parts currently in your rig. You can send your computer back to FoxTek for our technicians to do so, which is covered by warranty, or, you can do it yourself. But be warned, if you break something, we don't cover that.

Where does my computer ship from?

All construction and shipping is done out of Northern Virginia. If you are close to D.C., you are welcome to drive to us and pick up your computer, but let us know that when you purchase.

How do I check the status of my build after I place my order?

Accepted Answer

Email us at any time to see where we are in the construction process. We will email you once we ship your order.

Question 6

What if something is broken when my computer gets here?

Accepted Answer

Accidents happen, we understand. If you receive your PC and it won't boot, or you see visible damage to the case or internal parts (not the box it ships in), call us immediately and take as many pictures as you can to document the damage.

Do you upgrade computers from other manufacturers?

Accepted Answer

It depends. Fox Teknology will do nothing to void your existing warranty, which usually means we can’t do anything. However, if you are out of warranty and would like us to have a look, email the details of your current machine to us to see if you qualify for upgrades.

What happens if I'm not happy with my PC?

Accepted Answer

If for any reason you are not happy with your Fox Teknology PC, you can return it within 15 days for a refund after receiving an RMA # from our returns department. See our Warranty Page for more information.

Do you build laptops?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, no. Laptops do not have the size or the power to compete in today’s fast paced gaming environment. This is changing very quickly, and we are currently researching emerging technologies capable of scaling down the size of the immense power of Fox Teknology computers. Check our site frequently for updates in this field.

Are Fox Teknology computers available in retail stores?

Currently, Fox Teknology sells exclusively through our website, and is not available anywhere else.

What do I do if I need help fixing my PC?

Fox Teknology has an extensive support system in place to help you with any problems you may have. See our Support Page for our full policy.

What is covered by the Fox Teknology warranty, and how long is it covered for?

Many aspects of our PC’s are covered for life (like support), while others for one to three years (like hardware). See our Warranty Page for further information.

Does Fox Teknology sponsor gamers or groups?

Accepted Answer

If you would like to inquire about becoming a sponsored player or clan, email us with the game you play, your history, and why you feel you should be sponsored to be considered for application.

Question 14

Do you recycle computers?

Accepted Answer

Yes we do, but only if its one of ours. If for whatever reason you want to dispose of your FoxTek PC, you can send it back to us for recycling. Send us an email letting us know that's what you want to do and we'll send you instructions for shipping.

Question 15

What software comes pre-installed on my PC?

Accepted Answer

We do not pre-install ANY software unless specifically asked by the customer to do so. If you select an operating system with your build, we only install the default OS packages unless asked to deviate for any reason.
